Blouse - Cheerful Yellow

A truly one-of-a-kind handmade blouse created from cheerful yellow fabrics sourced at a market in Italy. This piece was designed with personality in mind, using as many of the original quirky details as possible to create a playful, artistic top that feels completely unique.

The blouse combines soft solid yellow fabric with yellow gingham panels, ruffled accents and bold appliqué details across the front. Purple bow ties run down the front opening, adding contrast and charm, while the sculptural shapes on the chest give the piece an expressive, almost wearable-art feel.

One special detail of this blouse is the intentionally uneven front. One side is slightly longer than the other in order to preserve the original frilled fabric detail. This slight crookedness is a deliberate part of the design and contributes to the blouse’s playful, offbeat character.

The back continues the mixed-fabric look with layered ruffle details, while the short sleeves and relaxed fit make the piece easy to wear with skirts, trousers or denim.

Because the fabric was purchased at a market in Italy and I do not have more of it, this blouse is completely one of a kind.
