Blouse - Christmas Tablecloth

A truly special Christmas piece, handmade from a vintage Christmas tablecloth and transformed into a festive shirt designed to come out year after year.

The original textile features a wonderfully nostalgic Scandinavian-inspired winter scene, with little Christmas gnomes, snowy landscapes, red cottages, holly and golden stars set against a rich navy blue background. The placement of the original print has been carefully considered when cutting the jacket, allowing the winter scene to continue across the front, sleeves and back.

The shirt has a cropped, relaxed silhouette with long sleeves and a statement pointed collar. The contrasting floral fabric on the collar adds an unexpected vintage detail, while the red border from the original textile has been incorporated along the hem and cuffs. Covered buttons complete the front.

Rather than leaving a beautiful old Christmas textile tucked away in a cupboard, it has been given an entirely new purpose as a wearable piece that can become part of your own Christmas traditions.
