Green Countryside Tapestry Jacket

A handmade jacket created entirely from repurposed textiles, with hand cross-stitched countryside scenes as its centrepiece. Houses, animals and people decorate the front and back, framed by quilted green sleeves.

The intricate stitching is part of the original textile's value. By incorporating those existing hand-worked scenes into a new jacket, the design preserves their detail and gives them a new purpose as wearable art.

A round neckline and relaxed silhouette let the colourful panels take the lead. Wear it over simple clothing to show the scenes from every angle.
